Zaman dulu sewaktu masih kecil...:))

Zaman Awal

Syukur, saya selamat cuma cedera ringan.

Tadir Tuhan pula menimpa kerana abang saya.

Long waved hair inspired by the 1940sHaving appeared on our radar in 2009, 1940s hair styles will continue as an inspiration for women's hairstyles in 2010. As it was last year this hair trend is again inspired by the late 40s and, to a lesser degree, the early 1950s.

Waves should be firm but not curly
Suitable for all hair colours, though less effective on black hair
Wear it with an off-centre or side part, not a centre part
Length wise, it must fall below the shoulders
Pair with classic make-up and styling
Inspired by film noir, confidence and sexual innuendo go hand in hand with 1940s wavey hair
Suitable both for the Autumn (Fall) / Winter 2010 and Spring / Summer 2010 seasons

Danial strong legs kicking...:)..

Parenthood was a learning experience! I'm sure many of you can think of a million things you did as a new mom. But now as a Grandmother @Grandma,
I am now just experiencing this role. I have heard stories that the love for grandchildren will be different from the love for your own child. Most of my friends who are already in the ‘Grandma circle’ said, that you will love your grandchild more than your own. I have yet to confirm if this is true. I'm learning every day that you can never be prepared for what lies ahead and the experiences you go through. I hope that we as grandparents will not spoilt our grandson as Datu Danial is the first grandchild for our in-laws as well.

Datu Amir Shah Danial bin Datu Ahmad Shah was born on 17th February 2010 a day after his Grandfather turn 60 years old. Born 3.02kg, he is now 7.5 kg.. He is growing sooo fast. He is now almost 4 months and getting physically stronger and better able to coordinate movementsHe is sleeping a little better …as most nights Danial will be sleeping with us (my hubby and I) since we want his mother who had a caesarian. to have her rest too. And yes, I said sleeping! He is finally getting his days and nights on track, but still not sleeping more than a couple hours at a time.

Danial is becoming a "momma's boy" and loves to cuddle. He is responding to us with coos and gurgles, and now responds to smile with a smile. At times, he will squeal with delight and laugh out loud. . He may have not liked something a week ago, he may now. Danial can now open and shut his fists and learning to hold his bottle.

I read that we need to encourage the learning process by talking to your little one, responding to his vocal expressions, and providing colorful age-appropriate toys. His parents and us his grandparents (His mum;s side as well), have bought for him. His parents are so eager and anxious to see him grow and learn to walk, that they have already bought him a 'walker'. hehehe..

I'm learning things every single day and I'm doing things that I had already almost forgotten, having 5 children of my own. Like, surviving on a few hours of sleep, and running errands etc. I've been getting a pretty small amount of sleep lately. Mostly, due to my busy schedule hence, I don’t have time to sleep in the afternoon. I'm running on my backup batteries right now and they must be the generic brand to energize me. …This whole experience is just amazing and I couldn't be happier.

I couldn't write this boring blog without posting a couple pictures!!

Getting Started Guide

Cherry on a Cake: MARTHA STEWART'S CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE

Assalamualaikum & Salam 1Malaysia.. Greetings to all...:)
Reading the blog written by relatives and friends, made me think whether I should also create my own blog moreover, our leaders have also encourage us to have our own blog. Prior to that instruction, I have always wanted to start on a blog but I never got round to it, till Shirley assisted me and directed me to hers, finally today this blog exists. Gosh!what should I write? I am lost for words and don't know where to start...I have friends who write about food, beauty, travels, etc. I think I will write about my daily activities; share my experiences, talk on beauty, fashion and also on leadership as well as politics, etc.

How often have you heard someone say about extraordinary people, “He/She was born to do this or do that.” It is as if that the “thing’ was their only goal, their only reason for being.

Warren Bennis, a leadership guru contends that the purpose of leadership is to “remind people what is important.” Reminding others what is important certainly penetrates the essence of leadership, doesn’t it? However, before we can remind others what is important, we first need to know what is important. Sounds easy? But it is not. We all like to think we know where we stand and what we value, but knowing our authentic values- the standards and guiding principles rooted deep in our hearts and guts – is one of the most challenging aspects of self-discovery.

My family is the most important thing in my life. Contributing to the welfare of the less fortunate is crucial. Mentoring my colleagues in Wanita Umno Kudat is a high priority.” I felt blessed to be mentored in the early days of my political career by my late mom who was an USNO Kaum Ibu Member and also the Late Tun Datu Haji Mustapha bin Datu Harun , who was the USNO President and also Yang DiPertua USIA.. I was his confidential secretary for more than 12 years and also my husband, Datuk (Datu) Amirkahar having campaigned for him and also working together in looking after his constituents.
